It's been said that RB welcomes multiple alias posters because more hits mean they get more advertising dollars.
I think that Ihub depends more on memberships than advertising for revenue.
Matt is a stickler about multiple aliases.......visit the jail now and then and you will see.

dropdeadfred - Whether logged or not, RB does not use it. And this site you have to give an actual email. Believe me, I tried. I attempted to give them a Yahoo email that I use outside of relatives and banks and they gave me a "no go", give us the real one. I sincerely shuddered and hoped they wouldn't list it with my alias.

DDF, IHub does do a better job than most. It is more tightly controlled and I believe they do block IPs once they catch you. Matt is the owner and site administrator. Violate the TOU and to jail you go.

Why can they not block certian IP numbers from posting?

Because if they did that, they'd be blocking all other posters who used the same ISP in the same area.
