I don't remember the data feed going down before.......You have to remember that real time data feeds cost a LOT of money.

I don't think it's cost effective to spend that kind of money TWICE......just to have a backup of something that RARELY goes down.

It's MUCH easier for us traders to have a backup don't you think?

I know I DO.....

And if your life blood is dependent upon you having real time data .......then spend the extra 40 bucks a month or so to have a backup.

OR......when it DOES go down......sign up with AlphaTrade or something to get realtime L2
