He doesn't buy more than 10-16% in a company. His $60M in GGP became $3.6B, $30M in MBIA became $1.6B. His fund has grown much bigger, so 3% looks less. He doesn't need to invest like $5B in FnF since he doesn't prefer to be the controlling shareholder in the Co. Plus he did mention in Amsterdam in Oct that there is a restriction on how many shares he can buy in FnF. The bigger picture is he is in common. Period. :) and we dont what he meant by saying "bought meaningfully more" in Dec.....
