Breakout board means something, but it isnt anything more than this. If you look it up, the breakout board is a percentage of posts in a particular stock, based on last week at this same period. So if a stock board was very active last week, it wouldnt register on that board at all. With the steady selling of shares lately, there hasnt been much chatter on a day to day basis. So in theory it should represent a stock increasing in activity, normally associated with something happening to cause a significant post increase. Just like you can make it high on the breakout board, and its dumping, like when a split is released in news. Thats just an example. So it is a good gauge to go find out why its more active now than this same point last week. If you look at the breakout board, not all have skyrocketing amount of posts. But compared to last week, now, its a noticeable change. Breakout board is 100% post related only.
So the breakout board is a good snapshot to whats receiving activity lately for one reason or another. The breakout board is strictly driven by the amount of posts on that board, that day. Strictly a post thing. Just like the "buzz cloud" is a snapshot of how many times that particular symbol is mentioned. Albeit on that particular board and around Ihub in general. Thats why you see anyone talking about a stock, they make sure to include the stocks symbol in each post. A combo of being on both boards is an even better indicator to something up.
Breakout Board = posts on that particular board only.
Buzz Cloud = Number of times ticker symbol is used anywhere, in total.
