You take the total amount of dollars you spent and divide by the number of shares you have.

Again: $$$$ Spent/# of shares.

Look at it this way. If she is the one who sold that 3 million shares on Monday for .008 and her average is on the .05's then she made back 1/5th of her investment in 1 day!
