What happened to the lake several years later 30 miles from their cabin. A Georgian paper mill company caused mercury to get into the water supply and it was fed down river to the lake. I don't know if its safe today or not that was years ago. Crappy fillet, skillet fried with a little flour or slightly breaded mmmmm, clean taste. Eat it any time of the day. Filleted properly not one bone.
