It is certainly a vote of confidence that Mark will be involved in running that company but I would urge anyone considering investing in Largo to do the strong due diligence that is expected of any other investment.
I took a small position in Avanti (now Alloycorp) following Mark's lead and without doing as much DD as I normally would. The position is currently down 40%. And while I know Mark's own holding in the company is also down considerably I do not receive huge options packages and compensation to dull the weak share price. Neither will you. Whatever Largo's potential NioCorp is the apple of Mark's eye and I would not spin out any shares to buy Largo at this time.
