Because why? If they were an "advantage" down draft towers would exist. Which they don't. Not one of them. Anywhere. Unicorns they are.

You are right about the air inside being cooler than the outside. That is why this "downdraft" won't work as advertised. It will become an "updraft" tower. Warm high pressure air will push into the tower.

BTW. Just because you use and ellipse doesn't mean you know physics.
