almost right. The amount of space dedicated to growing does not fall under value added, but the processing, which in this case is defined as packaging, does. So if produce 50,000 pounds a year, you are limited to 5 employees (not including the owner) per shift and 6000 square feet to package the product for shipping. Processing is not allowed under MMPR but the value added definition for the town captures packaging. This is intended to ensure a large canning facility is not located in an area like this for example, but in an area more suited to such activities. As it states it is intended for small amounts grown on the site and this activity would be secondary to the main activity.

So with 6Ksq feet and 5 employees they plan on running a hydroponics indoor green house and make profit



And grown and sell 1.3 million lbs a year and ship overages to Netherlands, South Korea, Israel....blah blah blah...
