Wouldn't it make more sense to spend $3.5 million to buy another $20 million dollar revenue stream that grows at 100% annual rate rather than fixating on a short term issue?

Yeah, brilliant idea.... or SLTD could just not spend $1-2 Million, and wait a week or two for this to go back up on its own based on fundamentals and/or next significant business event. Temporary share price decline is not going to hurt the company one bit. It is not going to hurt long investors one bit either.

Interesting point of view that I mostly do not agree with.

I do agree there has not been proper guidance on what is happening with solar cell and of course there are reasons for the sell down but they may not reflect a loss of trust in management.


Management are not there to "manage their share price"; they are there to manage the company. Many share prices decline for all sorts of reasons without triggering buybacks - in my view a buyback at this point would make no sense.

Let the CEO and CFO do their job...which is working in financials, acquiring companies, delivering results and so on.

Artificially controlling the share price is not their job....it´s the market´s job.

Fundamentals will play on our side soon...in my opinion.
