I never recieved the shareholder letter. I have talked to these jokers lately though. They've got some pretty interesting plans in the pipes.
This new "Energized Kit", from what i can understand, is geared towards consignment stores. The purpose of it is to catalog and keep track of all things sold, to whom, for what amount, and to whom/whether the money is to be sent. It's an organizational tool. What's pretty sweet about it is that they are going to get a monthly subscription fee (as well as the initial price of the product).
Moreover, OBDP is going to begin marketing on a national level via television commercials. They will send out a PR giving the times and dates of the showings. This could be a breakthrough for OBDP.
They have sold a handful of these packages so far, and have plans to present to an association of over 40 consignment stores in the near future. Near future was last week, but it got postponed.
Another thing is that they are opening 5 new stores, but they don't really know when they are going to open. It's kinda up to the franchisees.
All in all, things are looking up, but you wouldn't really know it because OBDP doesn't put out but 1 dang PR a quarter. Should come around... i'm shooting for break-even now. forget making anything (although it is possible!)
