As the broader market trades lower, investors are betting on MGM Resorts International (MGM). Shares are 9% higher after activist investor Jonathan Litt said shares of the casino giant could double to the $55 level if the company converted to a real estate investment trust. The details were released in a presentation by his firm Land and Buildings, which is also rolling the dice to get four seats on the board to force MGM's hand. No comment from MGM just yet.
