It may not have been meant to be screened at Cannes. It appears they are laying the groundwork for future screenings and building buzz behind the scenes. They want distributors competing for the right to help distribute the movie. I don't think they will accept an offer at Cannes as they may need it screened to get a bidding contest going. The movie looks solid to me. If it turns out to get critical acclaim as well as being popular then the real fun begins. I am confident they will have many bidders once SIRR is screened officially. This is going to be a wild ride IMHO. I see this stock as a long term play with exciting possibilities throughout the rest of 2006. This is all just my opinion of course. I have no idea what really goes on behind the scenes.
