sure...the difference between the two..........are huge....
promega...more secure, more financially stable, limited opportunity, you are there to do your job....etc
smaller biotech- much larger risk, but a much larger reward as well...you have the oportunity to make more of a big splash...
one would not accept a position and move across the country without getting evidence that the company you are moving too is very feasible, scientifically sound, and most of all financially secure, at least for a couple of years...
