I suspect over the next few months we will see a real live example with Ariad's likely negotiations with Harvey. I'd predict unvested options get vested and time to exercise gets extended.

I take it then you think the current proxy fight will be successful? I am long ARIA and think the programs are probably better off as part of a larger company but I am not so sure about Berger being ousted just now... but then again I was wrong about Henri Termeer going :-)
