A RS is generally perceived as a negative thing. Many time s stock will fall immediately after an RS. You may be right and maybe it will pop so you can recover your money, but the idea of buying low and averaging down is generally not a successful investing idea.

As a general rule, in my opinion, is to buy or sell a stock based on the diection you think it will go. Buy if you feel it will go up and sell if you feel it will go down. Buying something that is continually falling is most likely to keep falling.
