GZFX is NOT Netflix nor does it need to be.

You don't think the game biz is profitable??? Are you joking? The video game industry is larger than Hollywood. A single game, World of Warcraft, is expected to make $1 billion THIS YEAR, man. It has already matched the movie Titanic in revenue.

I don't know why Netflix has chosen not to rent video games, but it could just as easily be due to the millions and millions it would cost them to maintain an inventory of games and to distribute them as it could be because "the video game market is not profitable." Or perhaps they're wisely sticking to what they already do best, which is renting movies online.

That is true. Netflix and gzfx may have similar products, and netflix an inferior one.

The difference is that netflix knows how to run a company and MAKE money instead of SPENDING money.

Yea sure JF could have tricks up their sleeves, but the PERCEPTION they put out to shareholders is this:

We are not FOCUSING on any one area of entertainment revenue. Instead we are are SLOWLY growing seperate areas of our business.

The problem with this is that revenue is not coming in large bundles when it could be. This revenue that should be coming in that isn't is the very revenue they should spend to venture into OTHER areas of the company besides rentals.

BMI...

I will fill in the blanks

Are you kidding or trying to start a rumor again!! GZFX is not even on the radar for Netflix with only 8,000 subs in 2 plus years of business. Not even on the radar...as in "not even" It is not the current sub numbers they would be looking at, rather the potential...Netflix knows the market well and they know where GZFX is in it at!

Plus Netflix knows that the video game market is not profitable or they would have already been in it. If anything, they would acquire Gamefly. Will see about that since games are kept so much longer

Think about what you are saying. I did

A. On numerous occasions, Netfix has stated that they do not want the video game market (and that is a large % of GZFX customers) So since they said that their minds are set? God knows they could never be wrong

B. GZFX is too small to even worry about. And yes, your comment was referring to Netflix buying GZFX Now. The answer is Not a Chance. currently small with potential for large impact, deal with GZFX now, or later.

C. Netfix blows away GZFX with marketing and is capturing the market for movie service. Everywhere I turn, I see NFLX. But we have e-golf, a race car and the ever so popular gNf satellite channel to bring in subs. LOL Ever consider that there is a great market for this and room for others to be competitve? Or are you saying Netflix can not be touched? Go ahead and say it...Netflix can't be touched! It is what your saying right? Or is it GZFX can't be the one as if someone else is going to mystereously pop in with millions of dollars and start it off perfectly...OH please Let's not forget Netflix's $49 million dollar accumulated debt in 1999...or have you forgotten?
