Actually this is not Brilacidin.

still the same arrow though-Brilacidin

a different target, at least -TIAB!

This is a different molecule in the Host Defense Protein Mimetics pipeline.

No doubt Brilacidin for ABSSSI is way ahead of any drugs in the pipeline which are at various pre-clinical stages stages. That is certain.

But this compound appears to be advanced in the pre-clinical stage as the PR said: "We see a very clear regulatory pathway for hidradenitis suppurativa and will file an IND with the FDA once the formulation is completed." Rather than 'after x study is completed'.

Drugs far enough to file for IND are valuable catalysts for biotechs, and Cellceutix has an enviable and robust pipeline for a small biotech. But you make a very good point that we cannot compare a drug in human trials past the early and mid safety and efficacy stages like Brilacidin with drugs in pre-clinical or earlier clinical stages.

"To Infinity" -- You're wrong. Here's Astravakra's post -- read all the way through it and you will see. The "skin products" (bleah) are NOT Brilacidin.

Double post. Hate to waste one of my limited number of posts per day, so I'll just agree that when we're at 10 the passion will probably be reduced and there won't be so many Saturday night posters, because we'll all be dining out in fashionable restaurants with our CTIX fortunes.
