Honeycomb777, I wasnt trying to confuse you, I should have been more detailed about a couple of points...yesterday was a long day for me, and I should have paid more attention to a few of my posts...
I was involved with 2 R/S's years back..
First off, several folks here have been through R/S's lately and are reassuring me that its going to be no problem, we'll get our shares quick, and we'll be trading the new "D" shares in no time after the split.
The new CUSIP Number goes with the new "D" shares, so the shorts have to cover before the split with the pre-split shares, all the shares have to be accounted for before the split through the T/A, FINRA, DTCC,....ETC.....
The stock will not be halted or locked (bad choice of words on a few posts by my part- dont want to rehash it)... its just a matter of getting your shares from your Broker into your account, your Broker will handle the whole thing for you, not a big deal, call your broker if you have questions...
The stock will trade with the "D" for about 20 days, you'll be able to buy or sell with the "D"...
And yes the company should release PR'S, were overdue a few good ones, shorts will need to cover now/next week before the R/S happens...all IMHO...
