fuagf -- latest word is that the next ZR1 Corvette will be an entirely new mid-engine platform (which new platform will become the entire lineup of the next-gen C8 Corvettes, base model on up, as well as be made into a ZR1-parallel Cadillac supercar), running a twin-turbo V8 (initially) making (well) over 700 hp -- the new platform ready for, if not initially including, all-wheel drive and the integration of electronic motors to augment the V8 (bringing 1000+ hp implementations well within reach)
