In re "J. Bert Watson Sr.:

J. Bert Watson, Jr. is a complete phony and has a long history of involvement with penny stock company disasters with his father. He claims to be an expert in many areas where he has zero experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if the positive entries here were posted by Watson or one of his partners. In 1999 Watson, Jr. stipulated to SEC charges of falsifying trades and defrauding investors in a penny stock manipulation scheme (you can find his rap sheet on FINRA’s website but you have to search under J. Fitzbert Watson – nothing like a minor name change to prevent people from finding negative information). He paid a large fine and had to return nearly $1 million in fraudulent gains. Oh, he wasn't a senior manager at UBS... he was working as a sales guy for a small brokerage that UBS bought. The MD title was meaningless and just to impress clients. And UBS let him go not long after buying the company. Since then he's been a self-employed day trader and his Daddy's front man in the market touting the penny stock "deals" his Daddy (J. Bert Watson, Sr.) starts. First was a REIT called Sunshine - Daddy was forced out by shareholder lawsuits and the REIT imploded. Then Daddy took over a shell called Equus Resources that was first a gold mining company, then switched to oil exploration, then real estate and then, believe or not, flight schools. Never any revenue or financial reports just a nonstop pitch for investors and message board touts. Sure sounds legit to me. Daddy now has a shell called Sunshine Brands (SSBN in the pinks). It was a school supplies website that never actually had any business. After the Watsons' reverse acquisition, it became the parent of US Financial Assets, a bogus company claiming to invest in troubled banks. The Watsons say they are "approved" by the FDIC to buy banks but that is a total lie. Watson, Jr. also lists himself as being in senior positions at three different companies simultaneously... except all three are empty shells with no actual business or revenue. They haven't even filed financials for years. Anything involving J. Bert Watson Jr. or Sr. would make me suspicious.
