It is understandable the lack of knowledge we possess on this board because the MJ & Hemp laws.
You can't grow Hemp OR MJ in the US without permits.
Hemp oil is illegal if grown in the US.
Most hemp is an industrial variety that is not as refined as medical mj.
Charlotte's Web was originally bred from MJ plants, but has the THC bred out. Is still considered Marijuana here because of the source is MJ lineage. In other countries it would be Hemp because of the low THC.

I agree. I live in Pennasylvania. There are newspaper articles here all the time about families who have a child with a specific kind of epilepsy. They are moving to Colorado because the CBD that they need for treatment is not legal here. Now, you may ask what is my position here. I sold all my Mcig at 18.2. I considered buying back in this morning after news was announced. Then I thought something does not smell right here so I did not. I congratulate all who have held for the gain today. But I do what feels right to me. I will continue to watch and evaluate at this point. GLTA.

Because there are many other cannabinoids (including THC which is NOT legal in 47 states) in medical marijuana that benefit certain ailments like epileptic seizures that you would not get from simply consuming hemp oil. That is the difference. Does research show the CBD cannabinoid alone provides benefits when consumed? YES. Do we know the full extent of those benefits? NO. Not enough research has been done yet because this is an emerging field of research. Are people enjoying MCIG's CBD products? YES. And that is all that is required for them to buy it.
