No, have to admit I have not seen this particular equipment function. But, my point is that it doesn't matter how it functions. There is still ore to be mined, there is currently "ore" stacked on the ground (illegally), there is waste rock (or at least there should be), and there will be tailings. If, some miracle, there is 0.1 oz/ton gold in the 30,000 tons of ore, that removes only about 185 pounds of gold from the ore - the rest has to be tailings. No machine exists that can magically make tailings go away.
So, how this equipment works is irrelevant.
