You sound that way. Shares Issued are added to the Outstanding Shares. It has nothing to do with Net Income. Positive net income reported is a profit by the company. If its not the actual profit, then you have to request SEC to issue a new rule to all stocks listed on the public market.

Annual Report was straight forward and nothing like you say.

Total Revenue - Cost of Good Sold = Gross Profit
Gross Profit - Expenses = Net Profit of $73K.
