No it is not an artificial increase in price, it is simple economics. Control the supply below the demand and you have value, which is why commodities (oil, gold, silver etc...) are at all time highs. Same applys to stocks. Although it would appear to mimmick a reverse split it is not. A reverse split doesn't involve the use of a debenture. They are giving you a debenture (which is really a bond) at ten times your value if you paid .0001 and if you don't feel easy about holding onto it for five years they are offering you the choice to convert back to stock. A reverse split would not do it in this manner. Nothing is a guarantee however you are risking minimum money for maximum gains. Where else can you do that? Nowhere!
