Virtually ALL revenue that ANY airline receives is initially deferred. What is your point? That we should not sell tickets?

The value of prepaid transportation is characterized as Air Transport Liability, until earned as Revenue, or if unused, until aged out and taken as an Adjustment to Revenue.
