Instead of being all gee whizz about apps or speed or phone design they talked mainly about having an integrated experience and synchronized data between their mobile devices and laptops or other uses and being able to use the MS Office applications easily from the mobiles. In fact their phones are pretty much low to mid spec by the standards of most of what is there but they made a good case for paying a reasonable price and getting a job of work done rather than obsessing about the phone itself. Full marks I think for making the most of their strengths.
WRONG -> They haven't said anything yet about what they'll do about the successor to the 810 as far as I know never mind what any successor to Krait would be like. Presumably they're still working on it but the cost/benefit for mobiles must be getting dicey. My guess, very very much finger in the air, is they're retargeting that effort for their ideas of getting into the server market and will just go with ARM for high end smartphones. /WRONG
Hmm I'm proven wrong already. Qualcomm have teased the 820 with what they call their custom Kryo processor to sample in the second half of the year. Oh well so much for my guesses.
