Based on your post I come to the conclusion you believe that AURYN, the company that is on and evaluating the mountain, has decided that the deposit is worth (or possibly worth) such machinations despite how such machinations might adversely effect the Letts reputation.
They must believe the deposits are quite valuable if what you think they are doing is true.
