I disagree. This could be a sad precedent. Nobody would be safe, this country was built under the idea of the private property and the defense of it over any other rule. Yes, it is very grave, you should say very loud to any democrat or republican you know, no ideological here but the heart of US.
its not the end, its really the beginning, and will never be the same in america. far too much federal government for almost everyone these days. been around a long time, never have I seen a government dictate over us and ignore the constitution under us like I do today, no one trusts the government. Watergate which was just politicians doing what they do and was nothing compared to this, nor arms sales to a non industrial country, we are dealing with a global issue with the GSEs and oil that involves many other Industrialized countries and Allies. Obama has driven most allies away, and Israel is further away now then anytime since its became a Nation, I think your not seeing how different the world is from any other time since the 40s. The GSEs are a big part of normalcy no matter how trivial anyone sees them or opposes their existence. They are the fabric of the past 7 decades of the middle class. China owns much of this debt, and they are tired of how we handle our finances to the point they want to stop US dollar as world’s reserve currency. This is one of the reasons they cant find private companies to peddle the debt, China aint buying it like they used to, and why the Treasury has had to buy it during QEs. This HUGE, and it Could lead to the end of our world as we know it. Again, the GSEs stability is key, and washington dont get it, but we all will if they keep messing everything up for the world.
