MD, I cannot say anything about company news because I don't know what PPHM will do next week.
As for the big-buys. I need to see L3 until 10AM at least before that I can prudently ASSUME things and as you may have noticed there is always sufficient 'instance' of things to go wrong. It is no science and if I get it right 75% of the time I am very happy.
So I am not going to SPECULATE on what might happen next week. I do know that 2+4Milj shares is a lot for PPHM these days but not unusual historically. We had days with many millions of shares in MAR 2014 but for that period there was an explanation. The expectations of the impact of the many events PPHM planned would at least have been a beginning of explanation.
For what happened the past two days, except that your article has been seen by MUCH MORE people than the 5K+500K mentioned by Seeking Alpha, I do not have any explanation.
So personally, and this is MY PERSONAL OPINION and INTUITION rather then a FACTS BASED EDUCATED OPINION, I think NOTHING is up next week and that the moves from yesterday are related to the exposure to PPHM given by your article and that indeed some semi-pro's might have tapped in the waves at some point yesterday.
So I am not gong to follow your friends assessments that your article was just an ignition. Without wanting to offend you because you know that I did like BOTH your last articles because they were well build up, well written, factual, etc, I do personally think your article, and any other in Seeking Alpha for that matter, doesn't trigger the REAL PROFESSIONALS that will kick in on top of those we already have such as Blackrock and Dart's companies, etc.
It may serve as a trading blanket for the little scrimps and some semi-pro players and their little games but not for the real guys (and in that area I know what I am talking about).
But can I guarantee that NO NEWS will come from the company? No I cannot not. With 24+ collaborations, an active search for partnering, several clinical trials running, two preliminary look-ins granted for SUNRISE, two law-suits of which one can still settle, etc it would be foolish to exclude any possibility of news.
Then again, from were I stand I have no need for news, I invest and I don't count to get out of PPHM before the LEVERAGE of the pipelines and IP and new logistic support for the above is in the PPS. So news or no news it is exactly the same for me.
We should be at 1.80-1.90$ and maybe that is where we are heading to linger as we should have, but I am equally happy at 1.28 or 1.43 or 1.50 because what the PPS does between now and the leverage point is only of interest for day- and swing- traders.
