per article..they will not be implementing this technique for two more years.if I read it correctly.

They are doing this now in clinical trials, as I just ran across the protocol for one of these. They take triple negative breast cancer tumor samples, develop cell lines and mouse avatars (mice with the patient's tumor growing in it), and test which cancer therapy to try next (in case of recurrence). Growing tumors and testing against them in mice takes a few months, and this one day cell testing is indeed a huge advancement, if it proves worthwhile.
