The likelihood of a license deal is slim as it does not make sense for the video game manufactures. The patent are set to expire next November. That is less than 8 Quarters going forward, plus a settlement for past damages of 6 years. The patents will have expired before all legal remedies process in the Activision case. A lump sum settlement to go away is possible.
We will see in the future if WDDD attempt to use Activision as an example to shakedown the others will work. Goodluck longs, shorts, and undecided.
