And while I'd prefer not having to hold for 1-2 years, the silver lining is that any sale beyond that time frame is subject to long term cap gains instead of short term. Of course this is still a gamble, so the useless bashers needn't remind us yet again of that simple fact (they will anyway, so I don't know why I bother).
