No. You cannot see short sells in real time, it is a general statistic that can be tracked daily only - and that does not suggest short sellers have not covered some in the same day. i.e. not accurate.
Short Selling shows up as normal Sell orders because essentially, that is all they are. The borrowing aspect of Short Selling is done purely on a brokerage side.
