CPST is not involved with removal of the oil. CPST is mid stream, not up stream.

DEFINITION of 'Midstream'

Term used to describe one of the three major stages of oil and gas industry operations. Midstream activities include the processing, storing, transporting and marketing of oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids.

INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS 'Midstream'

Midstream activities are commonly included as part of downstream operations for much of the oil and gas industry. The midstream and downstream activities take place after the initial production phase and through to the point of sale.

Many oil and gas companies are considered integrated because of their ability to combine upstream, midstream and downstream activities as part of their overall operations.

They have the dirtiest oil possible to transported on American soil, and refined on American soil, and shipped from American refineries with their pollution here in America. What the hell does Canada have to risk?? And they even get a big break in taxes being a foreign country investing here.....

Screw Canada's clean environment, the whole process is happening here!!The pipelines have already been breaking with spills.

Read my previous linkregarding the problems with the pipeline.

All political! Nothing to do with the environment!

That is complete BS, with little awareness of the facts of the situation..

Obama vetoed it for the reasons noted in the link. Read it!

"If there's one country that is sensitive to the environment to a fault it's Canada."
You might want to rethink this statement... I am quite sure it is not true.
