INSPIRING ARTICLE

So, the good news is definitely there. But are investors reacting to it?

BLTA's stock does spike every now and then, but on the whole, the performance is far from impressive. The last two sessions, for example, ended in the green and the ticker managed to gain a total of 18%. Despite this, it failed to crack $0.02 per share which, you have to agree, shouldn't be that much of a problem for an emerging airline company that will make tonnes of money.

Yet, gaining significant altitude does appear to be a problem for the stock, and we'll now take a look at what might be causing it.

First of all, it should be noted that there's quite a lot of speculation around the company. When we last wrote about BLTA, the stock was moving on nothing more than hype and rumors. Right now, it's also attracting volume, but once again, this seems to be based on nothing official.

Apparently, a shareholder went and saw what he says is a mini evacuation test of BLTA's Boeing 747. He even took the time to upload some blurry photos on Craigslist. People are clearly excited, but their enthusiasm is not supported by an official announcement. Judging by opinions around message boards, most investors have no idea whether the activity on the pictures is in fact an evacuation test and they certainly don't know whether it has been passed.

A lot of people are holding their breath and are awaiting a press release from BLTA's headquarters, but so far, we have seen no such thing.

There's another, far bigger problem, though. It's called dilution.

Getting a plane off the ground is a money consuming task. BLTA didn't have the aforementioned money at the start of 2014, and the management team decided to raise it by selling common stock. A total of 1,450,613,042 shares saw the light of day during the first three quarters of last year. This pushed the O/S count to about 4.9 billion.

If these shares find their way to the open market, BLTA's chart might get uglier. And we won't be too surprised if they do because the people who hold them stand to make quite a lot of money out of a potential sale. The 1.4 billion shares issued between January 1 and September 30, 2014 were sold for a total of $7.1 million (an average of $0.005 per share).

$7.1 million is a lot of money, but BLTA managed to burn through most of them and it finished Q3 of 2014 with less than $30 thousand in cash and current assets. Predictably, the printing press sprang into action once again.

On November 17, the O/S count was sitting at 5.2 billion and a recent Schedule 13 form suggests that it's now hovering around 5.7 billion.

I was not able to see the Mini in action, they turned the portable lights at me and shined me out.. Lol probably on purpose! I did hear it though! Heard a loud airhorn, lights on the wing sections turned on and within 15-20 sec pop pop pop, (5) total. A few minutes later they moved the lights back and 5 slides deployed! They carried in one slide. After that I left.

The Baltia Rep. Came out twice to talk to me, nice guy! Even brought me a coffee! He said he would come back out later, but the restroom was calling my name! Probably his intent with the coffee!
