#18702 RE: johnkenny #18701

The text from early proceedings that I referenced in my earlier post today. Based on the latest information we had, it seemed like the judge had a good hunch on what may transpire. If my assumption is correct with this, she will do everything in her power to lay down the hammer hard on CT. Excuse any typos, I had to retype this quickly.

Box 15 of the Court Reporting Proceedings

The Court: It’s very simple. Nothing that is not substantiated will be believed by this Court.

Ms Green: Yes, your Honor

The Court: So, Miss Green, you know, you’re put in a position, I don’t know your background or anything else, but you have to be very cautious as an attorney representing clients.

Ms Green: Yes, your Honor.

The Court: Okay? I’m not holding you to the standard that you’re doing anything wrong, but at the same time you have to be very, very cautious that you’re not taken in by a client and somebody tells you something that is not substantiated and you come and repeat it, which is, of course, good advocacy in one sense, but be careful here.
