Yes, it was. So...20 years ago when Telematics was ahead of its time and there were not even cell towers erected everywhere HighwayMaster had a vision and was patenting everything. Look how much they were worth then.
Now, today, towers in place, along with satellite, clouds, the auto industries and Verizons of the world wanting to jump on the bandwagon, Telematics time is a reality. IT'S HERE.
Now, all that talk about 3 million dollars buys 30 billion shares is nice except those big investors holding 98.6 percent of the shares more than likely will not be selling them for .0001-.0005 so the 97 million from Klien Perkins and the 100 million annual income, and the undisclosed amount from here and the undisclosed amount from there...hmmmmmm just does not seem to be enough now does it?
When I look at what it was worth 20 years ago (435 Million) and try to figure what it is worth today...smile... I can't
The price has gone up....way up...and I suspect it does not matter who any of those patents were assigned to because you can assign patents and retain the right of use of them for your company. You can sell patents and retain the right of use.
Whatever each of us thinks our shares are worth...THEY ARE WORTH MUCH MUCH MORE.
