Sons4, never lose faith. As a practising MD, I can truly say that thyroid cancer is one with the best survival rates. I've had many patients with this diagnosis over the years and they're all doing just fine. Stay strong and this too will pass in time.

your welcome...lost my first wife; lost my best friend, my mom, about one year ago; and, no joking, second wife has an issue with her tryrod, but so far knock on wood! oh, and we lost our favorite gal, Jenny, a pure breed(show dog)beagle, we adopted--after she was done with being a show dog.

Sons, Docandstocks is right on. MD Anderson treated my wife's sister and her stage seemed later than your wife's. It has a very high cure rate. My wife's sister is free of the cancer. Her voice is a little deeper, but what a trade off. She will be fine. Will say a prayer.
