Janice-it's a classic prisoners dilemma game. Pearl definitely didn't think it through. The logical choice is to hold out.

I don't think she can legally force all shareholders to accept.

I also think that very few will..but my hope is that many do....for obvious reasons.

Janice I thought about what your describing. Your right. It can't be a choice. Everyone has to see that this is in there best interest to do so. She needs to reword this and clarify these statements. I can't even imagine how this would be optional? It makes no sense!. She doesn't need shareholders approval. I wasn't in on the r/s and it may be tuff to make this call after. If she doesn't we're gonna keep seeing the same ole stuff forever.
I see it this way. At 3bn shares the pps could rise to .10 and the company's market cap could reach 300mn.. This is feasable. When things begin developing with the gold and it processing even .20 is still feasable. Another split in the future will be necessary to get the o/s in line with earnings. Somewhere in the future she needs a share count thats reasonable to earnings and projected earnings. The share price then can continue to rise. Ideally less than a billion shares o/s. If you and I buy more shares prior to the r/s we will be fine. If we ended up with 200,000 shares hypothetically and our share price was 5 dollars you and I would have made a great investment. Any company would have to consider doing this given the same situation.
The best we can do is buy in for more prior to any split. In 5 years we can cash in for more shares. She can't buy back anymore shares after this one she'll have to just do a reverse split until things line up. 5 years out she will have to see if releasing these shares will create dilution. If this is the case something else will have to be done. Even another split or a cash payment. A low share count can make this company go foward. A high share count will wreck it.
