You have no idea when the accident occurred. It could have easily occurred a week ago and just now getting talked about. Generally for something like this, when they say it shipped, that just really means it got picked up from SonCav and then taken to the shipper's warehouse for further processing/packaging which can take a couple days for something this size.
Also, when the accident did occur, it's not like Alex would publish something immediately until he at least had some facts about it. He had to publish something now because people will start asking about it arriving by now.
Unfortunately these things will take time and best case I say it's a month delay for the unit to be fully inspected and shipped out again assuming it's undamaged. Worst case it obviously means remaking damaged components and reinstalling so could be 2-3 months. However, they have at least built it up once and can do it again much faster this time. This still sucks a lot but doesn't change the overall potential of the company or what the 10Q will say in a couple days.
