Yes it is good news.

Sigma...(if they already haven't done so) should maybe invite all the MAJOR automotive manufacturers to send a representative to attend. Over time the automotive sector will be increasingly using 3D additive for production and not just for prototyping. Think of all the small engine/transmission parts (not body panels), connecting rods, etc. that could be made stronger, lighter, cheaper.
Just a thought.
