mdphd, you're right, and the unfortunate thought is that people who may be at a tipping point in their treatment might have really adverse effects from missing a dose.

One thing I've wondered about that perhaps someone can answer: there has been a lot of talk about the development of an artificial pancreas, If this becomes a reality, as is seeming more and more likely, would people with advanced stage pancreatic cancer be able to just have the pancreas removed entirely? Or, by stage 3/4, is it so likely that the cancer has metastasized that this wouldn't be a complete cure for the disease?

Once again, I SAY that folks in trials are from all over the US and probably staying at a Ronald McDonald house a few blocks from DF.

So I have stage 4 cancer and I need my meds, but it snowed, I guess I will stay home today,,,,
