Nebraska, it seems, is just not interested in the mine at Elk Creek. Here you have a valuable and proven state asset that could create thousands of direct and indirect jobs for the state...and we hear nothing from Lincoln, the state Capital. Most other states would be bending over backwards in financial aid that would help Niocorp get the mine opened. Tennessee, for example, has given Volkswagen about $100 million in aid and incentives for its new plant opening in Chattanooga....Tennessee even has an $30 million aid package for an "undisclosed" plant or economic development in its budget that soon will be voted on....In Nebraska.....We hear crickets!
