BINGO....i feel for this kid...bc he is misinformed and being mislead.....Again...I go back to the training preference of residents and fellows. They arent focusing on LAP training nearly as much as robotic training for a REASON. You dont see many hospitals advertising LAP surgeons on billboards these days...its all robotics at such and such hospital. I work in 6-8 teaching hospitals in the Philadelphia area and I talk to the residents every day about this and none of them think the Surgibot is valuable or viable in the wake of ISRG and Titan advancing the market over the next 5 years. I see surgeons doing bariatric gastric sleeves in 45 minutes on the robot now with no tactile feedback and no stapler. There is no way Surgibot is going to make this better and more affordable...Wake up LTG...youre missing the boat on this opportunity for a dog. Hopefully you make your money back in TRXC and invest in Titan...
