Wow I guess you all are a lot more advanced in your movie watching then me. Most of you are older too, so much for "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." I have some IT buddies and they all still use DVDs (most are with netflix, I'm trying to change this). I still see a long life for DVD rental services. NFLX has millions of customers, BBI stores and online are doing okay, new HD DVDs are coming out. I just don't see the general public downloading a lot of movies and I don't see DVD players going away anytime soon. VCRs lasted 20 years. I imagine that DVDs will last at least another 5 years. Also, there are still many without a home computer and many without a home computer that has the speed and capability to download movies.
