Yes, probably average 5 times a week, and only costs $6.95 with
movieflix. And they are not downloaded. They are instantaneous in some manner. But still have the pause features and stuff.

Comcast with its OnDemand are much farther along than the Internet movie delivery companies are IMO.

Well I wondered about watching movies on a computer for a long time too but when it's as simple as adding a card to your computer and running an RCA connection to your tv then it doesnt sound very hard or very far off. Heck all its going to take is for someone to pull the plug, get the licensing OK's, and we'll be able to just burn our own DVD's. We're not very far off at all. Look at windows media center. That is where the future is.

I saw the commercials yesterday, too, on Spike TV. Where did you see the commercial?

You don't have to be online to watch the movies available from Vongo - they are downloaded to a hard drive. It's a very simple process to download to a laptop and then plug the laptop to the TV.

Is GZFX's future VOD service going to be streaming or download (or do we even know yet?)? I guess they were talking about a special box, weren't they? Either way, if it is streaming or special box, I think Vongo has not only beat GZFX to the punch in getting the word out, buth they also beat GZFX to the punch on providing a more viable family viewing VOD offering.

JMO on initial thoughts.

DVDs (discs) have everything going for it,
considering the ease of use, portability, and
availability of a huge library that is offered
through services such as Netflix, BBI, and GZFX...
IMO.
