U.S. to pull troops from Ebola zone
Feb 11 2015, 03:38 ET | By: Yoel Minkoff, SA News Editor

President Obama is expected to announce plans today to withdraw most of the U.S. troops assigned to combat the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, where they had been deployed to assist with supply logistics, construction and training. The return of the troops comes as the number of new infections drops in the region - from 1,000 new suspected, probable and confirmed Ebola cases a week in October to about 150 a week in recent reports.

The poster presentation for EbolaCide-1 created and presented by Drs. Scully and Lear of USAMRIID kind of says what we are waiting for in EbolaCide-2. They reported efficacy and viral load reduction. I'm looking for a better/clearer source for the poster.

You quote an ancient press release.

USAMRIID officials say plans to test the nanoviricides in animal studies are expected to begin in the near future.

It is clear this came out after the in vitro studies but before the animal (mice) studies. So they were talking about efficacy in a petri dish only. Ebolacide was not effective in mice.

If NNVC had an effective Ebola drug they'd be using it to cure humans, not to do more tests.

If you will read the article that you linked you will see that statement was made BEFORE the animal studies were done.

As I said earlier, the Ebolacide worked in a Petri dish and not in animals.
