Thanks for speaking up. I have done extensive research also in the MJ industry. I reside in the "other" legal state - Washington. I concur with all your points.

I am not a consumer of this industry nor do I plan on becoming one now that it is legal. I am way more into healthy living and I don't understand why people smoke tobacco or MJ for that matter. That said, I am still very much in favor of legalizing it throughout the US. I don't disagree with some opinions that there are negative effects also (some increased impaired driving statistics and health issues from smoking) but the positives I have researched outweigh the negatives by a HUGE margin.

As for the "gateway drug" argument. This is about as valid as not going swimming for 30 minutes after you eat. There is no legitimate connection via cause and effect. Sure, most if not all cocaine or heroin addicts have tried MJ. I would bet 100% of them also tried alcohol and also breath oxygen. I agree with your opinion that people who want to get that kind of a high will find there way to that source regardless of MJ access.
