Dan, It's not the best card for first person gaming, granted, but that's not what workstations are for.

Tim Sweeney does 3D games development. I don't know how he's going to use a 12 GB workstation that only sports a Matrox G450.

No, the Matrox G450 is no longer adequate for graphics workstations, now that many programs have implemented the graphics card's real time 3D engine to accelerate the application.
